Latest Construction Project Updates

We maintain open communication with our community throughout every phase of our construction projects.

UPDATE: September 2026 -
Demolition is now complete, with shoring and excavation underway through October. During this phase, neighbours may notice increased equipment, truck traffic, noise, vibration, and periodic lane closures along Victoria Street to support deliveries and site activities.

A tower crane will also be installed to support the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment. The project will use a luffing jib crane, which can raise and lower its boom to reduce the required swing radius. This allows lifting operations to remain more closely contained to the site, significantly limiting oversailing of neighbouring properties.

Following excavation, concrete foundation work is expected to begin in November and continue through spring, marking the transition into the building’s below-grade structure.

The project team will continue coordinating traffic, deliveries, and site activities to minimize impacts to the surrounding community wherever possible. We appreciate the continued patience and cooperation of our neighbours as construction progresses.
